Card Caddies with old CDs, fabric scraps & used buttons.

 INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut two fabric circles 1/2″ larger than CD & two quilt batting circles same size as CD.
· Glue batting to each CD.
· Run a basting stitch around each cloth circle, set CD in center of each circle, pull one thread of stitching to gather cloth tightly & tie off. Put a drop of glue on knot to secure.
· Center a button over the hole of one cloth covered CD & tack with a needle double threaded.
· Hold both CDs tightly together and run the needle through hole in the second CD to a hole in button held tightly to second CD (it’s not easy to get the needle through both buttonholes at once!).
· Keep going back and forth through both buttons, pulling thread tightly each time, until CDs are securely held together.
· Tie off and put a drop of glue to secure the knot.
DONE!
