On October 11, 2007, our guest speaker was Karen Wold.  Karen is a lawyer by profession but also an excellent quilter.  The topic of Karen's lecture was Copyright and how it affects us as quilters.

We all enjoyed the afternoon so much.  Karen was a wonderful speaker with the best sense of humour.  She kept us all engaged in the topic and totally entertained with her style.  This is a subject that affects all quilters and guilds and we all found it very informative.  Her lecture was followed by a lively question and answer period.
