On November 8, 2007, our guest speaker was Karen Menzies.  Karen is the current president of the Canadian Quilters' Association (C.Q.A.) and gave an interesting talk about the association in general and her life as president in particular. In addition, Karen is a remarkably talented fibre artist.  She uses innovative ideas and techniques to produce her unique items.  Wearable art is another area of great interest to Karen and her articles were wonderful examples of what can be done to personalize our jackets, vests, etc.  Following are photos from Karen's trunk show.  Please click on an image to see a larger version.
