In July, several of our members participated in the Pioneer Power Show.  They worked all week-end on a quilt in a frame to demonstrate hand quilting.  They had a very appreciative audience all weekend and very much enjoyed the experience. They found it intriguing how many men were interested and how frequently they heard the comment “I remember watching my mother doing that...” from them.

On August 13th, 2009 the guild members were invited to a day of quilting on the shores of Lake of Bays. The weather was wonderful. Many of these pictures show the works in progress.
