The Quilt Art Group is a satellite group that has formed from within the guild.  Any member is invited to join the group at any gathering.

We meet in September, November, January, February, April and May at James St. Retirement Residence on the fourth Thursday of the month from 10:00 am to noon, before the regular informal Guild meeting.

Members who attend will be encouraged to:

a) do original art quilts of any size

b) try different techniques, such as painting, beading, thread work

c) bring your work in progress to be gently critiqued by the group

d) share different methods with the group

e) share books on art quilts

This group has been making postcards.  The funds raised from selling these has been donated to Chrysalis, the new woman's transitional housing facility in Huntsville.
