At the March Quilt Art meeting at Rowanwood there were 8 regulars and one late arrival! Our leader's aim (Joanne) is to make us aware of the colour wheel using complimentary, secondary and tertiary colours. Also, to help us to use colours that take us out of our comfort zone, our 'homework' was to find a colour image that appealed to us and pull fabrics from our stash using those colours. One good example is the piece created from a 'turkey burger' image (see the photo below). This is to differ from our normal way of finding a fabric you like and then adding other fabrics with colours from within the original print.

Following are images from our meeting.  Click on an image to see a larger view.
